The feat, which took place on September 12, 2025, in Victoria Island, Lagos, saw her prepare a massive 8,780 kilograms of Nigerian-style jollof rice, setting a new global benchmark.

The record-breaking effort lasted nine hours and drew hundreds of onlookers who gathered to witness the historic moment. In a dramatic turn during the weighing process, the giant pot collapsed under a crane, but the team managed to salvage the effort and secure accurate measurements. Once confirmed, the food was distributed to spectators, ensuring that the event was both a celebration and a community experience.

This achievement adds another milestone to Baci’s growing list of accolades. In 2023, she earned global attention for her cooking marathon, where she spent 93 hours and 11 minutes preparing meals.
